[They say the eye is as important as the taste buds when it comes to food. Not here. At blindekuh, the pleasures of the palate are experienced by other senses that are sharpened by the darkness. Let smell and taste, hearing and touch, be your guides. You don't need your eyes to enjoy blindekuh!
We don't want you to feel lost in our world of darkness, so our professional staff are always there to help. Our team is made up of blind and partially sighted people who will take the very best care of you, making your visit to blindekuh an unforgettable experience.
Dinner Monday – Sunday 6.00 – 11.00 pm
Lunch Tuesday – Friday 11.30 am – 2.00 pm
The restaurant remains closed over Easter and Whitsun, on 1 August (the Swiss national day) and during the holiday season from 24 December to 3 January. In the summer holidays, from mid-July to mid-August, the restaurant is open for dinner only.
We are happy to take your bookings by telephone on 044 421 50 50. The best time to call is 8.45 – 10.45 am and 2.00 – 4.00 pm, Monday to Friday. If it's more convenient, you can also find out about table availability using our online booking form.
It's worth booking as far as possible in advance – but don't let that put you off giving us a call spontaneously. We can often find a table at short notice.
At blindekuh, you can pay in cash or using your EC, Postcard, American Express, Visa or MasterCard cards. Groups of 15 or over must settle the bill as a group – we're sorry, but we can't provide individual bills.
