Donations

The charitable Blind-Liecht foundation receives no state support. It relies on donations to maintain operations in both Zurich and Basel, and to develop new projects. Operating costs at blindekuh are significantly higher than for other restaurants. Staff costs are greater, there can be only one lunch or dinner sitting, and we need coordination staff to liaise between the dark and light areas. Guest enquiries and reservations also raise our administration expenses significantly.
